Ahmedabad Experiences Cooling Trend After Intense Heatwave

Following a period of intense heat at the start of the week, temperatures in Ahmedabad and across Gujarat have returned to more typical levels, offering residents a welcome respite. On Saturday, the city's maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C, which is 2.9°C below the normal range and 1.5°C lower than Friday's peak of 39.5°C.

Temperature Details and Statewide Conditions

The minimum temperature in Ahmedabad was 22.9°C, marking a significant 3.8°C increase above normal and slightly higher than the 21.7°C observed on Friday. Looking ahead, the forecast predicts maximum and minimum temperatures of 39°C and 21°C for Sunday, indicating a stable pattern.

For the broader state of Gujarat, meteorological projections suggest a gradual decline in maximum temperatures by 2°C to 4°C over the next five days, after which conditions are expected to stabilize. There will be no major fluctuations in minimum temperatures during this period. Additionally, there is a chance of light rain in some parts of the state on March 19 and March 20, which could further alleviate the heat.
