Ahmedabad Weather: Temperatures Rise Above Seasonal Norms
The city of Ahmedabad witnessed a noticeable uptick in temperatures on Tuesday, with both minimum and maximum readings climbing above their typical seasonal averages. This shift comes as weather systems continue to influence regional conditions.
Temperature Details and Comparison
On Tuesday, the minimum temperature settled at 17 degrees Celsius, marking a significant increase from Monday's 16.2°C. More notably, this reading was approximately 3 degrees higher than the normal expected minimum for this time of year. Simultaneously, the maximum temperature reached 31.3°C, which stood 1.1 degrees above the normal maximum temperature.
Looking ahead, weather forecasts indicate that the minimum temperature on Wednesday is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius, suggesting a continuation of the warmer trend.
Meteorological Factors at Play
The elevated temperatures can be attributed to persistent atmospheric conditions. A Western Disturbance affecting northern regions, combined with an induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan, maintained its influence on Tuesday. These systems have contributed to the warmer weather pattern observed in Ahmedabad.
IMD Forecast and Outlook
According to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), no major change in minimum temperatures is anticipated over the coming seven days. This prediction suggests that Ahmedabad residents should prepare for consistently above-normal minimum temperatures throughout the week.
The IMD's assessment indicates stable weather conditions with minimal fluctuations in the lower temperature range, despite the ongoing influence of larger weather systems in the region.
