On Saturday, Ahmedabad witnessed a significant drop in its maximum temperature, recording 34.6 degrees Celsius, which stands as one of the lowest readings in recent days. This figure is notably 3.8 degrees below the normal seasonal average, indicating a cooling trend in the city's weather pattern.

In contrast to the lower maximum, the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad was measured at 23.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.3 degrees above the normal level. This disparity highlights the fluctuating thermal conditions affecting the region.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the forecast for the coming days suggests that the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the city may experience partly cloudy skies, potentially influencing local weather dynamics.

The weather patterns are being influenced by Western Disturbances, with one persisting over central Pakistan and its neighbouring areas as of Saturday. A fresh Western Disturbance is anticipated to develop from April 7, which could bring further changes to the atmospheric conditions.
On April 7, some areas within the state are expected to receive light rain, adding to the variability in weather across Gujarat. This forecast underscores the active meteorological systems at play during this period.

Across Gujarat, maximum temperatures have remained relatively low, ranging between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius. For instance, Amreli recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 35.3 degrees Celsius, reflecting the broader cooling trend observed in Ahmedabad and other regions.
