Temperature Details and IMD Forecast
The maximum temperature recorded was 32.2°C, which is 1.1 degrees above the normal level for this time of year. Conversely, the minimum temperature settled at 18.5°C, marking a significant 3.3 degrees above the usual benchmark. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Wednesday is expected to see similar patterns, with a maximum temperature around 32°C and a minimum near 19°C.
Extended Weather Outlook
The IMD forecast indicates that over the next five days, certain areas in the region may experience maximum temperatures 2-4 degrees above normal. Additionally, minimum temperatures are projected to gradually increase by 2-3 degrees over the coming four days. Following this, maximum temperatures are likely to rise by 2-3 degrees after three days, suggesting a warming trend in the near future.
Regional Temperature Comparisons
In other parts of Gujarat, Naliya recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 12.4°C, followed by Kandla at 13°C and Keshod at 14.2°C. All other weather stations in the state reported minimum temperatures above 15°C, highlighting the overall mild conditions across the region.
