Statewide Weather Patterns Across Gujarat

Temperatures dipped noticeably in several regions of the state following the influence of a western disturbance, which brought cooler air and precipitation.

Despite the overall temperature dip, parts of Kutch remained relatively warmer. The Kandla Port recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state at 34.2°C, followed by Rajkot at 33.9°C. Most other major cities, including Surat at 32°C and Vadodara at 32.2°C, stayed closer to seasonal averages, reflecting the varied impact of the weather system.

IMD Forecast and Future Outlook

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, Ahmedabad is expected to remain partly cloudy for the next 24 hours. Temperatures are predicted to gradually rise by 3-5°C over the next four days, with dry weather likely to prevail across the state after isolated light rain in parts of North Gujarat and Saurashtra on Saturday. No weather warnings have been issued for Gujarat at this time.

The stable conditions in Ahmedabad, coupled with the statewide rainfall and temperature fluctuations, highlight the dynamic weather patterns affecting the region during this period.
