Bhopal Weather Update: Daytime Temperatures Set to Climb
The city of Bhopal is preparing for a noticeable increase in daytime temperatures, according to the latest meteorological observations. On Sunday, the minimum temperature held steady at the normal mark, with nighttime readings recorded at 13 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the daytime temperature soared to 29.6 degrees Celsius, which is approximately two degrees above the seasonal average.
Statewide Temperature Variations and IMD Forecast
Across Madhya Pradesh, Katni registered the lowest temperature in the state at a chilly 8.6 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast for Bhopal on Monday, predicting clear skies accompanied by morning haze. Daytime temperatures are anticipated to rise further, potentially reaching up to 31 degrees Celsius, while nighttime conditions are expected to remain consistent around 13 degrees Celsius.
Wind patterns are also under observation, with average speeds projected to be around 10 km/h. This combination of rising temperatures and stable winds could contribute to a warmer feel throughout the day.
Upcoming Weather Changes Due to Western Disturbance
Weather patterns across the region may undergo a shift around February 18–19, driven by a fresh western disturbance moving across northern India. This system is likely to influence northern parts of Madhya Pradesh, including districts such as Bhind and Morena, where light showers are possible under its impact.
Despite these potential changes, night temperatures across the state are forecasted to rise over the next three days. Dry weather is expected to prevail across most of Madhya Pradesh, and no weather warnings have been issued by authorities at this time.
Residents are advised to stay updated with local weather reports as conditions evolve, especially with the approaching western disturbance that could bring minor precipitation to certain areas.
