Bihar Braces for Dry Week with Steady Temperatures, IMD Predicts
Dry Weather Week Ahead for Bihar, Says IMD

The India Meteorological Department's office in Patna has announced that Bihar residents should prepare for a week of consistently dry weather conditions, with temperatures expected to remain steady before showing a slight upward trend in the coming days.

Current Weather Conditions Across Bihar

According to the latest observations from Sunday, the state has already been experiencing dry weather patterns over the past 24 hours. Kishanganj recorded the highest maximum temperature at 30.9°C, while Aurangabad experienced the coolest conditions with minimum temperatures dropping to 10.2°C.

The meteorological department confirmed that this dry spell will continue across all six meteorological sectors of Bihar from Monday through Saturday, providing stable weather conditions for agricultural activities and daily routines.

Detailed Temperature Projections

Maximum temperatures throughout most of Bihar are projected to hover between 28°C and 30°C for the majority of the week. Minimum temperatures are expected to maintain their current levels for the next two to three days before beginning a gradual increase.

However, residents in southwestern Bihar districts should still prepare for cooler conditions. Areas including Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabhua, Aurangabad, and Arwal are likely to experience minimum temperatures around 10°C-12°C, making warm clothing necessary during early mornings and late evenings.

Weather Advisories and Precautions

The IMD has advised residents to anticipate light to moderate fog during morning hours at isolated places over the next two to three days. Commuters, particularly those traveling during early hours, should exercise caution and use appropriate vehicle lighting.

In positive news for the state, the meteorological department has issued "no warning" for any severe weather phenomena during this forecast period, indicating stable atmospheric conditions without threats of storms, heavy rainfall, or other extreme weather events.

The consistent dry weather pattern offers favorable conditions for outdoor activities, agricultural operations, and transportation across Bihar, though residents are encouraged to stay updated with the latest forecasts as conditions may evolve.
