Expert Analysis from Local Meteorologists
Sunil Pandey, a weather expert at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, shared important insights. He stated that night temperatures across Uttar Pradesh, including Kanpur division, could dip further. The drop might range from 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
Pandey also mentioned that mild conditions may prevail during night, morning, and evening hours. Some relief from pollution and fog is expected during these periods. However, the overall cold wave remains firmly in place.
Impact of Hill Weather on Plains
Snowfall and rain in the hills are intensifying cold day conditions across the northern plains. This weather pattern is contributing to the persistent chilly atmosphere. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions against the cold.
The combination of low temperatures and foggy conditions is creating challenging circumstances. People are relying on warm clothing and indoor heating to cope with the harsh winter weather.
