Prof CV Pujar, an associate professor at PA Engineering College, elaborated on the highly hazardous effects of burning plastic on human health, highlighting risks such as respiratory issues and toxic exposure.

District swachhata ambassador Sheena Shetty condemned the damage to Mother Nature and voiced worries about the legacy of destruction being passed to future generations. She paid tribute to the flora and fauna lost in the fire, calling for immediate intervention. In response, Konaje panchayat development officer Rajani and secretary Chaithra visited the site, assuring that strict measures would be planned to prevent similar incidents. Positive responses have been received from the speaker's office, district minister's office, and Mangalore University vice-chancellor's office, offering renewed hope to environmental advocates.
