Howrah: The dismembered body of a middle-aged man, dressed in expensive clothes and with a long vermilion mark on his forehead, was discovered in a strolley placed in a roadside bush near National Highway 16 in Uluberia on Sunday. Howrah Rural Superintendent of Police Subimal Paul informed the Times of India, "This incident is quite mysterious. However, at first glance, the man seems to belong to an ordinary family. But nothing can be confirmed until the post-mortem and identification of the body are done." The police are awaiting forensic reports to ascertain the cause of death and the identity of the deceased.
