In a strongly worded statement, Mohammad Raad, head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, said Iran’s response to the recent U.S.-Israeli war has challenged long-held assumptions about American dominance.
Hezbollah's Fiery Criticism
Writing in Al-Akhbar, Raad claimed US President Donald Trump reacted with “astonishment, shock, and anger” when, according to him, Iran refused to surrender under pressure. According to him, Washington misread Iran’s internal dynamics, underestimating the strong ideological and societal ties between the leadership and its people.
Iran's Resilience Highlighted
Raad emphasized that the Iranian population is not merely passive, but, in his words, an “active and serious producer of power.” This statement underscores Hezbollah's support for Tehran's stance against what they describe as 'made-up' US power.
The remarks come amid heightened tensions in the region following recent conflicts. Hezbollah, a key Iranian ally, continues to voice strong opposition to US policies and military actions.
