Jalandhar Schools Receive Threatening Emails After BSF Blast
Jalandhar Schools Get Threat Emails After BSF Blast

A dozen schools in Jalandhar received threatening emails on Thursday morning, two days after the blast outside the BSF Punjab Frontier headquarters in the city. The email also allegedly contained threats against Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu.

Police Response and Precautionary Measures

Following the emails, police teams carried out checks at the schools. One of the schools sent students back home as a precautionary measure. Security in the city had already been tightened due to the Chief Minister's stay in Jalandhar. Police officials said security arrangements would remain heightened during Thursday night as well.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities are investigating the source of the emails and have urged the public to remain vigilant. The blast outside the BSF headquarters earlier this week had already raised security concerns in the region.
