Kapil Sharma Cafe Firing: Bishnoi Gang Warning Escalates

A fresh firing incident near Kapil Sharma's Kap's Cafe in Canada has once again brought the spotlight onto the comedian. The latest development comes with the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate claiming responsibility and issuing a direct warning to Sharma. From multiple gunshots reported in 2025 to the recent threat, here is a look at what has happened so far and why the situation continues to raise concern.

Firing at a cafe next to Kap's Cafe in Canada

A firing incident at a cafe in Canada early Saturday has been claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. The gunfire reportedly took place at the Chai Sutta Bar, located next to Kap's Cafe, owned by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma. In a social media post shared from a Facebook account named 'Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu,' the group also issued a warning to both the cafe owner and Sharma.

The gang issues a warning

In the post, the gang directly addressed Kapil Sharma, asking him to 'get in line' and alleging that his cafe had already been targeted twice in 2025. It further warned that if he does not comply, both his cafe and his Mumbai residence could be next. The group also made it clear that they would not consider any recommendations or mediation efforts this time.

When the firing incident first happened

The first reported firing incident at Kapil Sharma's Kap's Cafe took place shortly after the outlet opened in July 2025 in Surrey, Canada. The incident raised concerns among locals and authorities, marking the beginning of a troubling pattern around the establishment.

Repeated gun firing at Kapil's Kap's Cafe

In a disturbing development in October 2025, Kapil Sharma's restaurant in Surrey, Canada, was reportedly targeted by gunfire for the third time in four months, according to an NDTV report. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, though the property sustained visible damage. Authorities confirmed that multiple shots were fired at the establishment, adding to a growing pattern of violence surrounding the popular eatery. The repeated attacks sparked major safety concerns among locals and fans of the comedian worldwide.

When Kapil reacted to the firing incident

At the launch of Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun 2, comedian Kapil Sharma said, 'This happened in Vancouver, Canada, and from what I remember, there were three firing incidents. I feel the local laws there do not give the police enough authority to manage such situations effectively. But once this incident occurred, it escalated to the federal level, similar to how matters are taken up by the central government here, and it was even discussed in the Canadian Parliament.'

'I have never felt unsafe in our country'

He added, 'I believe we often do not understand the larger plan behind what happens, but I received calls from many people saying that while several issues were already going on in that area, the firing at my cafe drew major attention. Because of that, the authorities there have started taking stronger steps toward improving law and order. As for me, I have never felt unsafe in Mumbai or anywhere in my own country. Our Mumbai Police are not like that. And interestingly, after the firing incident in Canada, our cafe actually saw an even bigger turnout. So yes, I truly feel God is looking out for us.'
