The anti-terror operation codenamed Operation Sheruwali entered its fourth day on Tuesday, with security forces intensifying their search for two to three terrorists believed to be hiding in the dense forests of the Dorimal-Gambhir Moghla belt in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Hideout Busted
Late Monday afternoon, troops successfully located and destroyed a hideout containing essential commodities. The spot was subsequently demolished to prevent its reuse by militants.
Joint Operation Underway
Helicopters, drones, and sniffer dogs are assisting the joint team comprising the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF personnel on the ground. Additional reinforcements have been rushed to the area to support the ongoing anti-terror operation, officials confirmed.
A brief encounter between security forces and ultras occurred in the area on Saturday, as stated by the Army in a post on X.
