Three teenagers lost their lives after a goods train ran over them near Shobhasan village in Mehsana district on Thursday evening. The tragic incident occurred around 4:26 p.m. when the victims, residents of the Thakor Vas area, were crossing the railway track in a hurry and failed to notice the approaching goods train.

The deceased have been identified as Jignesh Hamirji Thakor (15), Maulikji Fatehsinh Thakor (16), and Yuvraj Ranjeetji Thakor (14). Jignesh and Maulikji were students of Class 11, while Yuvraj was a Class 9 student. All three were close friends and lived in the Thakor Vas area of Shobhasan village.
