Yellow Warning for Heavy Rain in Seven Himachal Districts

The meteorological centre of Himachal Pradesh has issued a yellow weather warning for seven districts on June 15. The districts affected include Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, Solan, Kangra, Sirmour, and Chamba. Heavy rainfall is anticipated across the state on this day.

Weather Conditions

Thunderstorms and lightning, accompanied by gusty winds, are expected to occur at isolated places in these districts throughout the day. The centre has also forecast light rainfall for most parts of the state until June 20. However, minimum temperatures are predicted to rise by 2°C to 5°C in the coming days, while maximum temperatures may increase by 4°C to 8°C.

Recent Weather Patterns

In the past 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall continued in isolated parts of the state. Most areas experienced dry weather. Minimum temperatures across the state were lower by 2°C to 5°C, and maximum temperatures also decreased by 2°C to 7°C, ranging between 13°C and 37°C.
