How the Fraud Unfolded

According to the FIR, the duo, who were also running a jewellery business, faced losses in their business. According to the police, the complainant then handed over 1.5 kg of gold to the couple and their relative to help them out. The trio promised to return the gold as soon as their business flourishes.
