FIMER India CSR Initiative Benefits 5,000 Students in 30 Rural Schools

FIMER India, in collaboration with the Aapat-Sahaaya Foundation, has successfully completed a large-scale Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that directly benefits 5,000 students across 30 rural schools in Karnataka. The initiative underscores the company's commitment to empowering communities through education, extending beyond its core mission of driving the energy transition.

Distribution of School Kits

As part of the program, FIMER distributed 5,000 school kits to students from underserved communities. Each kit includes notebooks, stationery, and other essential educational supplies, designed to reduce the financial burden on families and encourage school readiness, regular attendance, and continued learning. The initiative was carried out in partnership with Aapat-Sahaaya Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to quality education for rural and underprivileged children through school infrastructure, learning resources, teacher support, and holistic development programs.

Leadership Engagement and Community Interaction

Ms. Payal Poonacha, Chief Human Resources Officer at FIMER India, along with members of the FIMER team, visited Veena Makkala Mandira, one of the participating schools. They personally handed over school kits to students, engaging with children, teachers, and the school community. This interaction reinforced FIMER's people-centric approach to CSR and its commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact at the grassroots level.
