In a significant step towards modernizing dental education, Maharashtra Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif is set to inaugurate advanced pre-clinical dental laboratories at the M. A. Rangoonwala College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre in Pune. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 5, 2024, at the college campus.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
The newly established labs are equipped with cutting-edge technology, including high-fidelity simulation units, digital imaging systems, and advanced dental mannequins. These facilities aim to provide students with hands-on training in a controlled environment, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. The labs are designed to simulate real-life dental procedures, allowing students to develop essential skills before treating actual patients.
Enhancing Dental Education
According to college officials, the pre-clinical labs will play a crucial role in the curriculum by enabling students to practice various dental procedures, from basic restorations to complex surgical techniques.
