The PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the Safety Appliances Manufacturers Association (SAMA), held the curtain raiser for UFSEC 2026, which is poised to be North India's largest exhibition and conference dedicated to industrial safety, fire safety, and disaster response. The two-day event is scheduled for July 10-11, 2026, at Hall No. 1, India Expo Centre & Mart, Knowledge Park-II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, starting at 10:00 am.

The curtain raiser brought together key industry figures to deliberate on strengthening India's readiness against fire incidents, industrial hazards, and natural disasters. Speakers highlighted recent fires in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and other states, concluding that minimizing risks to life and property hinges on knowledge of fire prevention and rapid response.
