Four students from Rishihood University have earned paid internships with Pertech Industries Inc., a US-based healthcare technology company, to work on artificial intelligence and project management projects. The internships, which offer stipends of up to USD 500-750 per month (approximately ₹50,000), were awarded following the Global Circuit International Hackathon hosted by the university.

The selected students include Sourabh Pal (B.Tech Computer Science & Data Science), Udit Jain (B.Tech Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence), Yash Kumar (B.Tech Computer Science & Data Science), and Kashish Chhabra (BBA Entrepreneurship). They will contribute to cutting-edge projects in AI, healthcare technology, machine learning research, and project management. Each student will receive a monthly stipend of USD 500-750, reflecting the competitive nature of the roles.
Pathway Through Hackathon
The internships originated from the Global Circuit International Hackathon, organized by Rishihood University in partnership with international collaborators. Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Sourabh Pal will serve as an AI/ML Intern, developing intelligent ECG analysis systems that detect cardiac abnormalities through machine learning and signal processing. His duties include data preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, validation, and deployment on real-world biomedical datasets.
Udit Jain has been placed as an AI/ML Research Contractor. He will design and optimize advanced machine learning algorithms, conduct computational experiments, and contribute to research-driven engineering workflows for healthcare applications, collaborating with an international team of engineers and researchers.
Yash Kumar, also an AI/ML Intern, will focus on developing AI solutions using single-lead ECG signals. His responsibilities include analyzing clinical datasets, building machine learning and deep learning models, and improving AI performance for real-world healthcare applications under the guidance of technical mentors.
Kashish Chhabra, representing the School of Entrepreneurship, has joined Pertech Industries as a Project Manager. She will conduct research on healthcare technologies, coordinate projects, perform market analysis, and support product development, demonstrating the role of entrepreneurial thinking in technology-driven innovation.
