Arkel India Inaugurates Advanced Lift Electronics Manufacturing Plant in Vadodara
In a significant boost to domestic manufacturing, Arkel India has officially inaugurated its cutting-edge facility dedicated to lift electronic systems at the GIDC estate in Savli-Manjusar, located within Vadodara district. This strategic move represents a substantial investment of approximately Rs 100 crore in Phase 1, aligning with the Government of India's flagship 'Make in India' campaign aimed at promoting indigenous production and reducing dependency on imports.
Facility Specifications and Production Capacity
The newly established plant spans an impressive area of 1.35 lakh square feet, designed to house advanced manufacturing lines. It will focus on producing a range of critical components for the elevator industry, including automated PCB assembly lines, semi-automatic MR control panel lines, and integrated lift control systems. These systems encompass MR, MRL, and slim panels, catering to the evolving demands of modern infrastructure.
With a robust production capacity, the facility is projected to manufacture about 36,000 units annually under a single shift operation. This output is expected to significantly contribute to meeting the growing needs of the construction and real estate sectors, both domestically and potentially for export markets.
