CashMmickey, born Akash Datta on November 28, 1992, in Delhi and raised in Faridabad, has taken an unconventional path to music. After earning his engineering degree from Manav Rachna International University, he worked as a journalist at NDTV, where he honed his ability to observe people and understand emotions. These skills now form the foundation of his music career, which began officially in 2024.

Since his debut, CashMmickey has released 17 original tracks, building a name in the independent music scene. His popular songs include Gal Kar Mere Naal, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, and Dil Di Metro, which blend emotional storytelling with modern hip-hop and melodic sounds. He writes his own lyrics, develops melodies, and delivers each track with a signature vocal style.
