Tata Motors has officially launched the much-anticipated Tata Punch facelift in the Indian market. The micro-SUV now carries a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks the first major update for the Punch since its original debut.

What's New in the Tata Punch Facelift?

The facelift brings a comprehensive refresh to the Punch. Tata Motors has redesigned the exterior to give it a more modern look. Inside, the cabin receives updates with new materials and layouts. The company has also packed in additional features across variants.

Perhaps the most significant change is the introduction of a new engine option. This move aims to enhance performance and fuel efficiency for buyers.

Booking and Delivery Details

Interested customers can now book the new Tata Punch. Bookings are available both online through Tata Motors' official website and at physical dealerships across India. Deliveries of the vehicle are expected to commence shortly after the launch.

Tata Punch Facelift Variants and Pricing

Tata Motors is offering the Punch facelift in a total of eight distinct variants. The lineup includes Smart, Pure, Pure Plus, Pure Plus S, Adventure, Adventure S, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus S.

For those wanting a sunroof, it is available as an optional extra on the Pure+ and Adventure variants. This option costs an additional Rs 35,000 over the base price of those trims.

Variant-Wise Feature Breakdown

Tata Punch Smart: This entry-level variant comes equipped with LED headlamps, keyless entry, and central locking. It features a 4.0-inch digital instrument cluster and front power windows. Safety is a priority with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and hill hold assist. The Smart also includes a tyre-pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Tata Punch Pure: Stepping up to the Pure trim adds steering-mounted controls and a day/night interior rearview mirror. Passengers get rear AC vents and a front centre armrest. The variant boasts four speakers, rear defoggers, and a 15W Type-C USB port. It also includes all four power windows and electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors.

Tata Punch Pure Plus: This variant introduces an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a reverse parking camera. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Cruise control is available on select petrol and CNG variants. Comfort features include a height-adjustable driver's seat and multiple Type-C charging ports.

Tata Punch Pure Plus S: Building on the Pure Plus, this variant adds a single-pane electric sunroof with voice assist. It also gets automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and roof rails for enhanced utility.

Tata Punch Adventure: The Adventure trim focuses on advanced features. It includes a 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitoring for better safety. Convenience is boosted with push-button start, automatic climate control, and an air purifier. The variant rides on 15-inch hyperstyle wheels.

Tata Punch Adventure S: This version of the Adventure adds a voice-assisted electric sunroof and roof rails, similar to the Pure Plus S.

Tata Punch Accomplished: The Accomplished trim ups the luxury quotient. It features a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and LED lighting all around. The seats get extended thigh support, and the cabin includes ambient lighting. It also offers hill descent control and a 4-inch digital TFT instrument cluster.

Tata Punch Accomplished Plus S: As the top-spec variant, it includes all features from lower trims and more. It boasts a wireless smartphone charger, connected-car technology, and an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror. The steering wheel and gear knob are wrapped in leather. It also gets paddle shifters on AMT variants and distinctive 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
