District administrations in Sonepat and Panipat have completed all preparations for conducting the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) in a transparent and peaceful atmosphere. A total of 13,768 aspirants will appear at 22 centres in Sonepat, while 16,152 candidates will take the exam at 27 centres in Panipat. The examinations are scheduled for July 4 and 5.
Security and Administrative Arrangements
Neha Singh, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Sonepat, confirmed that all arrangements for conducting the HTET peacefully and transparently have been finalized. ADC Ajay Chopra will serve as the overall in-charge of the examinations. Duty magistrates have been appointed to maintain law and order at all centres.
ADGP and Commissioner of Police Mamta Singh stated that elaborate security measures have been implemented. Around 700 police personnel and 17 patrolling parties have been deployed for examination duty. Each patrolling party will include officers at the ACP, Inspector, and SHO levels.
Exam Schedule and Candidate Distribution in Sonepat
On July 4, 3,961 aspirants will appear for the Level-3 (PGT) test from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. On July 5, 6,843 candidates will take the Level-2 (TGT) examination from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and 2,964 aspirants will sit for the Level-1 (PRT) examination from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. All facilities including potable water, electricity, sanitation, and other basic amenities have been ensured at all centres.
Panipat Preparations and Directives
In Panipat, Deputy Commissioner Dr Harish Kumar Vashishth reviewed final preparedness on Friday and directed officials to ensure transparent and peaceful conduct. He warned that no negligence would be tolerated and instructed strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the Haryana School Education Board, Bhiwani.
Dr Vashishth detailed the candidate numbers: 5,220 aspirants for Level-3 (PGT) on July 4 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm; 8,252 for Level-2 (TGT) on July 5 from 10 am to 12:30 pm; and 2,680 for Level-1 (PRT) on July 5 from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
Additional Measures
The Deputy Commissioner also ordered that no Group-D employee be allowed to enter examination centres. He urged all duty magistrates, centre superintendents, and other officials to coordinate effectively and discharge their responsibilities diligently.
