Nearly 5,000 candidates appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate medical courses at 15 examination centres in Ludhiana on Sunday. The examination was conducted smoothly with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
Examination Arrangements
The district administration had made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the exam. The centres were sanitised, and candidates were provided with masks and sanitisers. Social distancing norms were strictly followed.
Security Measures
Security was tight at all centres, with frisking of candidates and prohibition of electronic items inside the exam hall. The entire process was monitored through CCTV cameras.
The NEET UG exam is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses in India. The results are expected to be announced in a few weeks.
