CBSE Class 12 Toppers 2025: Bengaluru Students Shine

Bengaluru: When the CBSE Class 12 results were announced on Wednesday, several students took centre stage for their remarkable performances. Here are some of the top scorers.

Aditi Agarwal: Humanities, 99%, Deens Academy Whitefield

Aditi describes herself as someone who was always naturally drawn towards subjects such as political science, psychology, English and design. Having studied at Deens Academy since the age of two and a half, she says the school has shaped much of her academic journey. Aditi plans to take up political science and has applied to various private universities. "Politics is dynamic. Something important is happening somewhere in the world every single day. That’s what makes it so fascinating," she says. She recalls learning about the Montreal Protocol — the international agreement signed in the 1980s to phase out substances harmful to the ozone layer — as the moment that deeply inspired her. Behind her academic success, she says, was not a rigid study schedule, but consistency and attentiveness in class.

Sanvi: Commerce, 99%, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Bangalore East

Unlike many students who drift towards conventional career choices, Sanvi made up her mind as early as Class 10 that she did not want to become an engineer or a doctor. Instead, she found herself drawn towards understanding the legal system, its strengths and loopholes, and the role law plays in helping people. Her interest led her to choose the commerce stream with subjects including accountancy, business studies, legal studies, English and painting in Class 12. Sanvi earned admission to Nirma University in Gujarat. "I plan to start in corporate law and later, move into litigation," she said. "Whenever I missed classes because of CLAT preparation, my school teachers helped me catch up. My accounts teacher especially helped me improve in the subject," she said. She also believes practices like kriya sessions conducted in school helped improve concentration and retention.

Aditya Deepak Avadhani: Science, 99%, NPS Whitefield

A NEET aspirant, Aditya is preparing again for the retest. "The first one went well, I will restart preparations now," he said. But for Aditya, the path after MBBS is not the same. "I want to get into research in medicine. It is an exciting field with so many developments in cancer research, immunology and whatnot. I want to work in those areas. I found interest in subjects like biology and genetics in middle school itself," he said. Aditya’s motto for the exam was to follow NCERT textbooks. "If you understand the concept, you can do well in subjective and objective formats," he said. Aditya, interestingly, was in the limelight in 2023 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised him for his practice of recycling old notebooks.

Asbah Sahar Imteyaz: Science, 99%, Delhi Public School North

For Asbah Sahar, securing 99% in the Science stream is only one step towards a larger goal — becoming a doctor. "In Class 11, I realised medicine was the right choice for me. It is a noble profession. There is a lot of respect for doctors, and I like challenges," Asbah said. Asbah says most of her preparation revolved around NEET, which she did all by herself, without the help of any coaching centre. Since the syllabi overlap significantly, her entrance exam preparation automatically helped her perform well in the board exams too.
