CBSE Class X Results Announced: Jharkhand Achieves 86.18% Pass Rate

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class X examination results on Wednesday, revealing that Jharkhand recorded an overall pass percentage of 86.18%. Out of 82,340 students who appeared from the state, a total of 70,959 successfully cleared the exams. The data highlights a notable gender disparity, with girls outperforming boys by securing a pass rate of 86.91%, compared to 85.6% for boys.

State Topper and School Performances

In Ranchi, Pranya Priya from Delhi Public School (DPS) emerged as the overall state topper with an impressive score of 99.6%. DPS principal Jaya Chauhan expressed pride in the school's achievement of a 100% pass rate. Student Sadhna Arya from DPS shared her joy, stating, "My aim is to crack NEET-UG," reflecting the aspirations of many high achievers.

Several other schools in the region also reported outstanding results. Surendranath Centenary School (SCS) saw all 208 students pass, with the highest score reaching 98.4%, as noted by principal Samita Sinha. At JVM Shyamali, Kashvi Roy scored 99% and expressed her ambition to pursue engineering from IIT Bombay, having opted for physics, chemistry, and mathematics for higher studies. She added, "Celebrating this moment with my parents makes it even more special."

Perfect Pass Rates and Top Scorers Across Schools

Many institutions celebrated perfect pass rates. DAV Nirja Sahay reported that all 132 students passed, with the highest score at 95.6%. DAV Public School in Pundag had 203 students appear, with 33 scoring above 90%, and Mahi Shree leading as school topper with 96.8%. Similarly, DAV Public School in Bariatu maintained a flawless record, with all 290 students passing, and Jigyaasa Karn securing the top position with 96.6%.

At Tender Heart School, all 399 students passed, with Sourav Kumar emerging as topper with 99.4%. Principal Usha Kiran Jha remarked, "We are elated with the outcome." In other notable performances, Sarla Birla Public School's Radhika Lodha became the topper with 98.6%, while Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School saw Aditi Kushwaha score the highest at 96%. DAV Public School in Hehal reported Shubhangi Kumari achieving an impressive 98%.

Regional Highlights and City Toppers

In Jamshedpur, out of 6,140 students who appeared, the success rate was higher for girls at 95.7% compared to 94.3% for boys. Jampana Shreya from Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) emerged as the city topper with 98.6%. Hazaribag also saw strong performances, with St Xavier's School and Holy Cross School maintaining a 100% pass rate, while DAV Public School recorded a 90% pass rate. Additionally, Shubh Kumar Singh from Delhi Public School in Bokaro emerged as the overall topper with 98.8%.

The results underscore the dedication of students and educators across Jharkhand, with many schools achieving perfect or near-perfect pass rates. The achievements of toppers like Pranya Priya and others highlight the academic excellence prevalent in the state's educational institutions.
