The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the schedule for the physical verification of answer sheets for the Class 12 Science stream examinations conducted in February-March 2025. Following the announcement of results, more than 2,000 students who were dissatisfied with their scores submitted applications for re-evaluation.
Online Call Letters for Verification
As part of the verification procedure, the board has issued call letters online. Students can access and download their call letters from the official GSHSEB website by entering their seat number and the mobile number registered during the application process. The board has explicitly stated that call letters will not be sent by post; they must be obtained online.
Verification Dates and Process
The physical verification of answer sheets is scheduled to take place on May 28 and 29, 2025. Students are required to be present at the venue and time specified in their respective call letters. During the inspection, original answer sheets will be shown to the students. The verification process focuses on three key aspects: accurate totaling of marks on the front page, checking for any unchecked answers, and identifying any errors in mark calculations.
If discrepancies are found, the board will make the necessary corrections. It has been noted that several students have applied for verification in multiple subjects. This initiative aims to ensure transparency and provide students with an opportunity to address concerns regarding their evaluation.
