The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially announced the results for the Eklavya Model Residential School Selection Test (EMRSST) 2026. The examination was conducted on March 29, 2026, across various centers in the state.

According to the official notification released by the board on Friday, a total of 959 candidates had applied for the exam. Out of these, 862 students appeared for the test, while 97 remained absent. Among the candidates who appeared, 433 were girls and 429 were boys.

The board stated that the result has been prepared based on the final answer key. Earlier, a provisional answer key was released, and objections submitted by candidates were reviewed by subject experts before the final answer key was prepared. This ensured accuracy and fairness in the evaluation process.

Admission Procedures
The board has also stated that all examination-related records and documents will be handed over to the authorized representatives of the Himachal Pradesh Tribal Development Department and the Eklavya Model Residential School Management Committee. Further admission-related procedures in EMRS schools will be carried out by the Himachal Pradesh government’s Tribal Development Department and the EMRS management committee based on merit.
