NEET UG Exam Delayed by Over Four Hours at Daltonganj Centre

Daltonganj: A shortage of 48 question booklets caused a significant delay in the NEET UG examination at Yodh Singh Namdhari Mahila College in Daltonganj on Sunday. The exam, originally scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm, finally commenced at 6:55 pm, resulting in a delay of more than four hours.

According to a Public Relations Department (PRD) official, the examination will now conclude at 9:55 pm. The official confirmed that the delay was solely due to the insufficient number of question booklets provided to the examination centre.

The unexpected delay caused inconvenience to hundreds of candidates who had arrived early for the exam. Many students and their parents expressed frustration over the lack of communication from authorities regarding the issue. However, officials assured that the integrity of the examination process was maintained and that all candidates would receive compensatory time to complete the test.
