The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has outlined the provisional schedule for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for the academic year 2026. According to widespread media reports, the tests are expected to be held from February 12 to March 12, 2026.

Examination Schedule and Format

Sources familiar with the board's plans have indicated that the RBSE examinations will continue to be held in a single morning shift. The exam timing is expected to remain consistent with previous years, running from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. daily.

The board, which supervises the crucial final examinations for over a lakh students every year, will include all necessary details in the official timetable. This includes the specific dates for each subject, subject codes, precise reporting times, and important instructions for the examination day. Exam Day Rules and Passing Criteria

The RBSE will conduct all examinations in the traditional offline, pen-and-paper format. For Class 10 students, the duration of each exam will be 3 hours and 15 minutes.

To pass the board examinations, candidates must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks. On the day of the exam, all students are required to report to their designated examination center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the test.
