The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced the postponement of the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026, originally scheduled for a specific date that clashed with the Bakrid holiday. According to the official notification, the examination will now be conducted on June 1, 2026.
Revised Examination Schedule
The council clarified that the shift timings for the examination remain unchanged. The morning session will continue from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The official notice further stated that the TG PGECET 2026 examinations scheduled for May 29, May 30, and May 31 will proceed as per the earlier timetable. The revised schedule is as follows:

- May 30, 2026
- May 31, 2026
- June 1, 2026
The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day.
Hall Ticket Availability
The council also announced that candidates who have registered for the examination can download their hall tickets from May 22, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM onwards through the official website. Candidates are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the admit card after downloading it.

The computer-based entrance examination is conducted for admission into full-time postgraduate courses, including:
- Master of Engineering (ME)
- Master of Technology (MTech)
- Master of Pharmacy (MPharm)
- Master of Architecture (MArch)
- Graduate level PharmD (Post Baccalaureate)
Admissions will be offered in universities and affiliated engineering, pharmacy, and architecture colleges across Telangana for the academic year 2026-27.
