WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 Declaration Date
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is set to announce the Madhyamik Result 2026 on May 8, 2026. This eagerly awaited outcome will be accessible online for nearly 9.71 lakh students who participated in the Class 10 board examinations conducted across the state.
The examinations were held from February 2 to February 12, 2026, at more than 2,600 examination centers spread throughout West Bengal. Students have been anxiously waiting for the results, which will determine their academic progression.

Students can check the WBBSE Class 10 Madhyamik Result 2026 on the TOI portal by following these simple steps:
- Visit the TOI Education result portal for WBBSE Class 10 results.
- Enter the roll number in the required field.
- Enter the date of birth in DDMMYY format.
- Click on the submit button to access the result. After submission, the marksheet will appear on the screen. Students can download and save a copy for future reference until schools distribute the original marksheets and certificates.
Details Mentioned on the Marksheet
The online marksheet will include the student's name, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, grades, total marks obtained, and qualifying status. Students are advised to carefully verify all details after downloading the scorecard.
Passing Criteria and Previous Year Statistics
To pass the Madhyamik examination, candidates must secure at least 34 percent overall marks, equivalent to 272 marks out of 800, along with separate passing marks in each subject. Students who fail in a limited number of subjects may later appear for compartment examinations conducted by the board.
Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 86.56 percent, while the board had announced the results on May 2. In 2024, the pass percentage was recorded at 83.61 percent. Schools are expected to begin distributing certificates shortly after the online declaration of results.
