The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the Madhyamik examination results on Friday, revealing an overall pass percentage of 86.83%. This represents a modest increase from the previous year's pass rate of 86.56%.
District-Wise Performance
Among the districts, Kalimpong recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.10%, followed by East Midnapore at 94.82%, Kolkata at 92.31%, West Midnapore at 91.40%, and East Midnapore at 90.85%.
Grade Distribution
A total of 1.46% of students achieved an A+ grade, which corresponds to marks between 90% and 100%. This year, 9,01,724 regular students appeared for the examination.
Top Rankers
A total of 131 students from 19 districts secured positions among the top ten ranks. Avirup Bhadra from Sarada Vidyamandir in Raiganj topped the state with an impressive 99.71%.
