Nagpur: Recognizing the relentless efforts of educators who continue to shape generations, The Times of India and Maharashtra Times have organized the 'Icons of Education 2026' ceremony. The event will be held today at 5 pm at Hotel Airport Centre Point on Wardha Road.

The ceremony aims to celebrate teachers, principals, academicians, and institutions that have made noteworthy contributions to the field of education through innovation, leadership, and commitment to academic excellence. It is expected to bring together prominent personalities from the education sector, along with representatives from schools, colleges, and professional institutes across the region.

Distinguished Guests and Participants
State Revenue Minister and Nagpur district Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule will grace the occasion as chief guest and felicitate awardees. Dr. Manali Kshirsagar, Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, and Teachers' Constituency MLC Sudhakar Adbale are expected to attend the programme as distinguished guests of honor.
The event is being presented with the National Commodity Supply Corporation of India as the Principal Sponsor and is powered by Raisoni Education.
