WBBSE Madhyamik 2026 Merit List Released
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the Madhyamik (Class 10) examination results for 2026. The merit list, featuring the top rank holders, is now available on the official website wbbsedata.com. Students can check their results and the list of toppers online.
Meet the Toppers
This year, the top position has been secured by a student from Kolkata who scored an impressive 99.2% marks. The second and third ranks are held by students from Howrah and North 24 Parganas districts, respectively. A total of 15 students have made it to the top 10 list, with several scoring above 98%.

To view the merit list, follow these steps:

- Click on the 'Madhyamik 2026 Results' link.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- The result and rank will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for future reference.
Overall Performance
The pass percentage this year has improved to 86.5%, compared to 84.2% last year. Girls have outperformed boys with a pass rate of 88.1% against 85.0%. The board has also introduced a new grading system this year, which has been well received by students and parents.
