In acknowledgment of her extraordinary success, President Droupadi Murmu will confer the Gold Medal upon Charu during the Independence Day celebrations. This prestigious award brings immense pride to her hometown Tilda and the entire state of Chhattisgarh. Charu is the daughter of Praveen Kumar Pandey and Sudha Pandey.
