The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2026 results have been officially released by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download their scorecards from the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
Overall Performance and Pass Percentage
According to the official data released by the authorities, the overall pass percentage for AP ECET 2026 stands at an impressive 91.72 per cent. A total of 33,751 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 32,434 appeared for the test. Among these, 29,750 candidates successfully qualified, securing their eligibility for lateral entry admissions.
Examination Details
The AP ECET 2026 examination was conducted on April 23 in two sessions across 14 different streams. The test is specifically designed for diploma holders and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degree holders who wish to gain lateral entry into the second year of engineering and pharmacy degree courses offered by institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

Key Highlights of AP ECET 2026
As per the official report, the attendance percentage for this year was recorded at 96.09 per cent, indicating a high turnout among registered candidates. In terms of gender-wise performance, male candidates achieved a pass percentage of 90.93 per cent, while female candidates outperformed with a higher pass percentage of 93.34 per cent. The preliminary answer keys were released shortly after the examination, and objections were invited from candidates until April 29. An expert committee reviewed the objections, and based on their recommendations, the final answer keys were prepared and the results were processed accordingly.
