CJP to Expand Protests to 4 Cities if Minister Doesn't Resign

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has intensified its demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, with founder Abhijeet Dipke announcing plans to expand protests to four major cities if the minister does not step down. Speaking to reporters in Pune on Wednesday, Dipke said that if Pradhan fails to resign, the CJP will launch agitations in Lucknow, Amritsar, Jaipur, and Bengaluru.

Background of the Protests

The CJP, which began as a satirical platform on social media, gained rapid traction among young Indians. Dipke, who traveled from the United States to India to lead the movement, previously organized a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar last week. The second protest is scheduled for Thursday at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), for which the group has obtained police clearance.

Allegations Against the Education Ministry

Dipke held the central government responsible for several issues plaguing the education system, including the NEET paper leak and irregularities in the CBSE re-evaluation process. He claimed that over one crore students have suffered due to the ministry’s failures. “Many students would have become doctors and saved lives, but some took their own lives because the system failed to ensure fair examinations. The education minister must take responsibility and resign immediately,” Dipke stated.

Call for Nationwide Agitation

Dipke emphasized that the youth of India are not afraid and are ready to fight for their rights. “We want Pradhan’s resignation. If it does not happen, the protest will be launched in other cities to turn into a nationwide agitation,” he said. He also appealed to young people across the country to gather in Delhi on June 20 to expand the protest.

Government Accountability

The CJP founder stressed that the government must be held accountable for the suffering of students. “Papers were leaked, servers are not functioning properly. How long will this continue? Will anyone from the government take responsibility? We will not keep quiet until the minister resigns,” Dipke asserted.
