Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) in Patna has officially invited applications for admission to 15 postgraduate programmes offered through its nine constituent schools. The announcement was made via a university notification, which also specified that the last date for online submission of applications is June 15.
Programme Details and Seat Availability
The School of Nano Science and Technology is offering an AICTE-approved MTech programme in Nano Science and Technology with a total of 20 seats. Meanwhile, the School of Geographical Studies provides an MA in Geography, accommodating 50 students.
The School of Journalism and Mass Communications runs six distinct courses. These include an MA in Journalism and Mass Communications with 30 seats, along with postgraduate diploma programmes in Film Making, Photography, Science Communication, Development Communication, and Digital and Online Journalism. Each of these diploma programmes also has 30 seats available.
Specialised Programmes in River Studies and Other Fields
The School of River Studies offers two programmes: an MSc in River Science and Management with 20 seats, and an AICTE-approved MTech in Water Resource Engineering with 24 seats.
Additional programmes include an MA in Economics at the Patliputra School of Economics (40 seats), an MBA through the School of Management Teachings (60 seats), an MA in Philosophy (30 seats), an MSc in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (20 seats), and an MSc in Space Science and Astronomy (10 seats).
