The Higher Education Department of Odisha has initiated the admission process for the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) for the academic year 2026-27. Aspiring students can submit their applications through the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) portal until June 10.
About the Programme
The AEDP is designed to integrate theoretical classroom learning with practical industry exposure, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020's emphasis on skill development and employability enhancement. Under this programme, students will undergo a one-year apprenticeship with a stipend during the third year of their degree course.
Available Subjects
For the 2026-27 session, the AEDP is offered in 11 subjects: Commerce, Home Science, Economics, History, English, Zoology, Mathematics, Library Science, Chemistry, Geology, and Botany.
