The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced the results of the written examination conducted for the recruitment of 624 lecturer posts across 18 subjects. A total of 2,253 candidates have qualified in the examination, which saw participation from over 1.92 lakh aspirants on May 9 and 10.
Examination Results Declared
UPESSC chairperson Prashant Kumar confirmed the release of results. The shortlisted candidates are now eligible to appear for interviews in subjects such as physics, biology, home science, history, education, English, agriculture, commerce, sociology, political science, mathematics, economics, Sanskrit, psychology, chemistry, geography, fine arts, and Hindi.
How to Check Results
The subject-wise and category-wise roll numbers of successful candidates have been published on the official website: www.upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates are advised to visit the portal to verify their qualification status.
Interview Schedule
The detailed schedule and guidelines for the interview process will be released on Wednesday. Additionally, candidates will receive notifications via SMS and on their registered email IDs and mobile numbers. It is essential for candidates to keep their contact details updated to ensure timely communication.
This recruitment drive aims to fill lecturer vacancies in government degree colleges across Uttar Pradesh, strengthening the state's higher education infrastructure. The selection process includes both written examination and interview stages.
