Valentine's Day Event at Indore College Disrupted by Vandalism
In a shocking incident in Indore, a Valentine's Day programme organized at Narsee Monjee College was violently disrupted on Friday. Members of the Bajrang Dal, a Hindu nationalist organization, stormed the campus and vandalized the venue, causing significant property damage and creating chaos among the students.
Police Confirm Incident and College Complaint
According to police officials, the disruption occurred while students were actively participating in the event within the college premises. DCP Zone 1, Krishna Lalchandani, stated, "A Valentine's Day programme was taking place when a Hindu organisation vandalised the venue on campus. The students were handed over to their parents, and according to the complaint by the college administration, further action will be taken." The college administration has formally lodged a complaint regarding the vandalism, and based on this, police have assured that appropriate legal action will be initiated.
