Bihar D.El.Ed JEE 2025 Second Selection List Released for Non-Government Institutes

The Bihar School Examination Board has issued crucial information regarding the release of the second selection list for qualified and eligible applicants of the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025. This list pertains specifically to admissions for the training session 2025-27 in all non-government institutions that are recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated with the Board.

Background and Initial Process

Through Notification No. PR 305/2025, the committee had earlier invited online applications from candidates who successfully passed the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025. These applications were for admission to NCTE-recognized training institutes affiliated with the Board across the state of Bihar. Based on the applications received, institute preferences, and departmental provisions, the initial seat allocation and admission to government training institutes were conducted strictly as per the established rules and regulations.

Second Selection List for Non-Government Institutes

Subsequently, the first list for admission to non-government institutions was issued under Notification No. PR 40/2026, and the admission process commenced accordingly. Continuing this systematic process, the committee has now prepared the second selection list for non-government training institutes. This list is based on applications, available vacancies, and candidate preferences, ensuring a fair and transparent allocation.

The detailed schedule for the second selection list and related activities is as follows:

  1. Release of second selection list: February 22, 2026
  2. Enrolment period: February 23, 2026 to February 27, 2026
  3. Online application for post-enrolment slide up: February 23, 2026 to February 27, 2026
  4. Final seat updation by institutes: February 28, 2026
  5. Fresh or revised option filling (subject to vacancy): March 01, 2026 to March 02, 2026

Fee Structure and Slide Up Provision Clarified

The committee has clarified the fee structure and slide up provisions for applicants. The maximum annual fee for the first year of the two-year D.El.Ed course has been fixed at Rs. 60,000. Candidates allotted institutes may secure their admission by depositing an initial amount of Rs. 3,000 and may exercise the slide up option for preferred institutes if they wish to upgrade.

For applicants admitted under the first selection list to non-government institutes by depositing Rs. 3,000 and opting for slide up, if their institute remains unchanged in the second list, they are required to deposit the remaining first-year fee at their allotted institute if they are satisfied with the allocation.

Portal Access and Status Check

The second selection list and institute allotment details will be available on the committee’s official portal, www.bsebdeled.com. This portal is accessible through individual login credentials provided to applicants. Importantly, applicants who are not selected can also view their status on the portal to stay informed about their application progress.

Directions to Institutions Over Fee Complaints

The committee has received complaints alleging that certain institutions demanded fees exceeding the prescribed limits during the first phase of enrolment. In response, separate action has been initiated against the concerned institutions under the applicable rules and regulations.

Heads of non-government institutions have been directed not to charge more than the prescribed fee under any circumstances. Any complaints of violations will attract strict action, for which the institution concerned will be held fully responsible, ensuring accountability and fairness in the admission process.
