In a proud moment for Bihar, Shubham Kumar from Gaya district, who emerged as the state topper and secured the third position nationally in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026, was specially congratulated in the Bihar legislative assembly on Tuesday. National Achievement with 100 Percentile Score
Shubham Kumar, hailing from Nadarganj in Gaya, achieved a perfect 100 percentile in the highly competitive engineering entrance exam. He is among the twelve candidates nationwide who attained this remarkable score this year. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the results of the first phase of JEE Main on Monday, revealing this outstanding performance.
Nearly 60,000 students from Bihar appeared for the examination this year, making Shubham's achievement even more significant as he stood out among this large pool of aspirants.

His father, Shiv Kumar, runs a hardware shop, while his mother, Kanchan Devi, is a homemaker. This family context makes his academic triumph particularly inspiring for many students across the state.
