School administrators report that the shift to on-screen marking has altered the logistics of evaluation. Instead of using large halls for manual checking of answer sheet bundles, computer labs will now function as assessment spaces. Manoj Bajpai, principal of Birla Open Minds School, emphasized the critical need for uninterrupted internet connectivity and an adequate number of computer systems. He also advised students to write clearly, as scanned copies of answer sheets will be assessed on screen, reducing the likelihood of unchecked answers and minimizing totalling errors.
Teacher Adaptation and Support Measures
According to CBSE city coordinator UK Jha, teachers may require a brief adjustment period to become comfortable with the on-screen marking system. However, he noted that routine tasks, such as filling front sheets of answer books, which previously consumed significant time, will be streamlined. To facilitate this transition, the board is planning a webinar to address teachers' queries and familiarize them with the process. Jha also mentioned that examination centers have been instructed to ensure appropriate facilities for students, maintaining a focus on their comfort and needs.

Educationists describe the reform as forward-looking, though not without its challenges. Anju Chopra, principal of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, highlighted that digital evaluation can lead to faster and more reliable results by eliminating delays associated with transporting physical answer books. She also stressed the importance of teacher readiness, managing screen fatigue, and ensuring stable infrastructure, including power backup and secure systems to protect data.
