Haryana Government Schools Announce Annual Examination Schedule for Classes 9 and 11
The School Education Department of Haryana has officially released the comprehensive annual examination schedule for students enrolled in Classes 9 and 11 across all government schools throughout the state. This announcement provides crucial dates and guidelines for the upcoming board examinations, ensuring proper planning for thousands of students and educational institutions.
Detailed Examination Dates and Timings
According to the official datesheet published by the department, the annual examinations for Class 11 students will commence on February 16, 2024 and continue through March 13, 2024. For Class 9 students, the examination period will begin slightly later on February 17, 2024 and conclude on March 6, 2024.
All examinations for both classes will be conducted in a single morning shift across all designated examination centers. The uniform timing has been set from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM daily, providing consistency and standardization throughout the examination process.
Enhanced Security Protocols for Question Paper Distribution
The department has implemented stringent measures to ensure the integrity and security of the examination process. District Education Officers (DEOs) from eleven districts, including Sonipat, have received specific directives to personally collect sealed question paper boxes from the headquarters of the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) located in Bhiwani.
The collection schedule has been fixed for February 12 and 13, 2024. In circumstances where a DEO cannot undertake this responsibility personally, they must appoint an authorized representative. Complete documentation for any representative must include:
- Full name and official designation
- Complete residential and office address
- Active mobile contact number
This detailed information must be submitted via email to the BSEH Assistant Secretary by February 9, 2024, ensuring proper verification and accountability.
Transparency Measures and Storage Protocols
To prevent examination malpractice and maintain transparency, the department has established enhanced security protocols for question paper storage. Sonipat District Education Officer Naveen Gulia emphasized that all question paper boxes will be stored exclusively at designated secure locations with appropriate surveillance and access controls.
These measures reflect the department's commitment to conducting fair and transparent examinations while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity across Haryana's government school system.
