Haryanvi Teen Comedian Found Dead at Home in Jhajjar, Family Cites Study Stress
A 17-year-old Class XII student from Dubaldhan village in Jhajjar district was found dead at his home on Sunday night. The teenager, identified as Punit, was known for creating humorous Haryanvi videos on Instagram under the page 'Full Bakwas'.
Family Discovers Body Hours After Last Upload
Punit's grandmother returned home around 9:30 pm on Sunday and found him unresponsive. She immediately alerted other family members. They rushed him to Beri hospital in Jhajjar, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
This tragic discovery came just nine hours after Punit had uploaded his final comedy skit online. His father, Bani Singh, stated that the boy was alone at home at the time. Singh was in Haridwar, while Punit's mother had gone to her parental home for work. The grandmother had been visiting her younger son's house.
Academic Pressure and Daily Video Routine
According to family members, Punit had been experiencing significant stress related to his studies. He attended a private academy in the village and was described as an average student who often appeared worried about his academic performance.
Despite this pressure, Punit maintained a consistent creative routine. He enjoyed making humorous reels and shared his videos regularly with friends. His Instagram page, which had approximately 200 followers, featured daily uploads of his comedy content. He sometimes ventured outside to record material for his videos.
Police Investigation and Family Statement
Police received information about the death around 11 pm on Sunday. Sandeep Kumar, the investigating officer at Beri police station, confirmed that authorities recorded the father's statement on Monday. After completing the postmortem examination, officials handed the body over to the grieving family.
Bani Singh emphasized his son's passion for comedy creation while acknowledging the academic challenges he faced. The family's account paints a picture of a teenager balancing creative expression with educational pressures in his final school year.
