The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released a revised timetable for the 2026 board exams. This revision brings specific changes to the exam dates for Class 10 and Class 12, while the annual DPSE examination remains unaffected.
Key Adjustments in the Exam Schedule
MPBSE has made notable shifts in the timing of several papers. The Class 10 Hindi paper now moves to March 6, 2026, from its original date of February 11. For Class 12 students, the Urdu and Marathi papers will also take place on March 6 instead of February 9. Additionally, the Class 12 Hindi paper has been rescheduled to March 7 from February 7.
All written examinations will follow a consistent timing pattern. They will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Candidates must arrive at their exam centers by 8:30 AM. Entry gates will close at 8:45 AM sharp. Answer sheets will be distributed at 8:50 AM, with question papers handed out at 8:55 AM.
Practical Examinations and Pass Criteria
Practical examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 are scheduled between February 10 and March 10, 2026. These will be conducted at designated centers across Madhya Pradesh. To pass the MPBSE board exams, students must secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject. They also need an overall aggregate score of 33 percent.
